“I am a camera with its shutter open, quite passive, recording, not thinking.”

Christopher Isherwood, Goodbye to Berlin

people are exciting and fascinating.

this is why I want to record their complex expressions and emotions on film.

every shot that I take is meant to be a portrait - whether it shows just a face or a whole body; whether the person is vested or not.

with being particularly attracted by the tender softness of women I want to combine the art of photography with their natural beauty.

to accomplish pictures that reflect this effort I decided to choose a medium that features dignity as well as beauty - as the women do that I portray.

a few words on nudity...

first of all, nudity has nothing to do with sex.

although the societal view on nudity is mostly sexually determined, nudity doesn't mean sexuality per se - to me nudity is our most natural state of being.

to my personal extend - as stated earlier - the female human body is one of the most beautiful things to look at -
particularly when I look through a lens.

this is why I am trying to cover this through my photography and release the shutter - in an artful and moreover respectful way.

I hope you will enjoy my work and take it for what it is:

my way of seeing the person in front of my camera.

I really appreciate all kinds of comments... but please rate my work, not the female body you might see on my photos.

all models shown on these pages deserve and demand respect.

as if this a work in progress, I am always willing to meet people who agree with my way of thinking and wanting to collaborate in an photographic session.
