katharina

saturday. october 18th 2014.
around eighteen degrees centigrade - overcast sky.

been to beelitz-heilstätten once again - as if there are current plans to recultivate this giant abandoned area, probably for the very last time.
after my prearranged model canceled our appointment, fabulous katharina applied at short notice and we spent about four hours taking her portrait at this wonderful place - some misfortunes turn out to be a great chance after all.

used my graflex [crown graphic] as well as my “new” mamiya RB67.

we shot around seventy frames - mostly on fresh ilford FP4+ & HP5+, but also some sheets of kodak ektachrome 100+ [exp. 04/2000] and a roll of fresh portra 400 .
finally I shot one more roll of old kodak tmax 400 - expired in 1990 [the year katharina was born].
lenses used: schneider-kreuznach symmar-s 5.6/240mm - mamiya sekor-c 3.8/127mm - mamiya sekor 4.5/250mm.
black & white-development was done by myself, C41 and E6 by open eyes, hamburg - all scanning by myself.
